Anatomy of Touch

The Anatomy of Touch is a program that supports helping professionals bring more compassion to their patients and to all of their work. Participating in this program will help you become more attuned to all that you bring to a relationship from the first moment of touch.

Anatomy of Touch is a process of deepening awareness to help you fully connect with your patient and yourself. We use experiences with horses to help you reveal beliefs or habits that block the fullest expression of compassion you have for your patients.

Joining with a horse touches your heart. Their gentle and curious natures guide you to access deeper awareness throughout the process. No riding or horse experience is necessary; you will be carefully guided to interact with the horses from the ground.

You will learn about the underlying messages behind every touch through the horses’ honest responses. In Anatomy of Touch, you will learn to truly connect with a horse and in the process discover the compassionate expression capable within this very human connection.

When you attend the Anatomy of Touch workshop, you will:

  • Become more compassionate and truthful with yourself and others.
  • Learn, at a deeper level, how to establish trust in relationships with your clients and co-workers.
  • Deepen your awareness about the entire message behind a simple touch.
